Prior to your stay, please read through some of our Frequently Asked Questions:

Are there room deposits?

Yes.  When you check into your room you will have a $125.00 authorization hold on your card in addition to the total cost of your stay.  The authorization hold is released 5-7 business days after check out.  Notice to debit card holders:  financial institutions will hold your money.  The Altoona Grand Hotel is not responsible for any overdraft fee’s related to this authorization.

What method of payments do you accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.  Cash is accepted with either a credit card on file for incidentals or a 150.00 room deposit that will be returned upon a clean inspection of your guest room.  Prepaid debit and credit cards are not a valid form of payment.  ATM is on site.

Are pets allowed?

Pets are not allowed.  Service animals are permitted.

Do you have smoking rooms?

All guest rooms and all public spaces are non smoking

Do you offer weekly rates?

We do not offer weekly rates.  If you will be staying for an extended period of time please contact management to discuss pricing.

Do you offer extended stay monthly rates?

Yes.  Extended stay rooms are done on an application process.  Please email frontdesk@altoonagrandhotel.com to have an application mailed to you.

Do you offer discounts?

Yes.  We honor AAA/AARP, military, first responders (medical personnel, officers, paramedics, firefighters) all with a valid form of identification.

What are the rates?

Rates are based on availability.  Please check the website for the current rate.

Are rooms refundable?

Rooms cancelled within the 24 hour cancellation window will not be charged a penalty.  Advanced purchase rooms are NON-REFUNDABLE.  Refunds will not be issued after check in.  Early departures will be subject to a penalty fee.
